I don't often write reviews, but Il Vignetto is, in my opinion, a true neighborhood gem. Mario and his team are super helpful and always ready to offer a recommendation if needed. Most recently, in these "post covid-19" times, the shop has taken all necessary precautions (masks, distancing, etc), and thankfully, seems to be thriving. If you love wine and want to support a fantastic neighborhood small business.. I highly recommend Il Vignetto.
The sandwiches taste good, so I'll give them 2 stars instead of 1, just don't expect them to get your order right, or care when they get it wrong. I don't write too many yelp reviews, but after 3 visits and 3 messed up (and very simple) orders, I'm very annoyed. I live in the neighborhood and their aren't too many sandwich options.. But.. I will not returning for a 4th try..
Best in the city..
Great atmosphere, excellent service and amazing cuisine. All of the dishes I tried were great, but I have to say that the rock shrimp tempura is out of this world!
Ok, so first of all, I hardly ever review anything, but this was just too bad to not take some sort of action.
First, the service was very slow. Took over 30 min to get a burger and fries and the place wasn't busy. Second, the grille and assembly areas are gross.. I should have trusted my instincts, got my money back, and walked out.
I'm not sure how this place got an A, the grille is truly awful.. it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month...but.. against my better judgement, I tried the burger.. and.. it did not taste good..at all. I could have done better at McDonalds.
Don't believe the hype on the signage.. this place is disgusting..
